I am a teacher, a teacher-educator, a researcher and a writer. I was born in Toronto, Ontario, and I lived there more than half my life before starting graduate school in 2001. Since then, I have also lived in Vancouver, BC, Sydney, Australia, and Charlottetown, PEI. When I am not working, I am often listening to podcasts, digging in the garden, making soup, walking, biking or reading. I have made a few short films and I would love to make more.
